Monetary Donations
We accept online donations through Square! If you are making a donation through Square, we ask that you also please include an email to dbird [at] portagelibrary.us that indicates your intent for the money being donated. Please click here to donate online.
Of course we are also happy to accept cash donations and donations by check. Monetary donations should be made out to the Portage Area Community Charitable Trust (PACCT) - a 501(c)3 organization that not only safeguards funds, but also invests them, according to the Library Board of Trustee's Planned Giving Policy. Use the Memo Field of the check to indicate Portage Public Library, or to indicate how you wish to direct the spending within the library specifically.

Memorial Books
If you would like to honor or memorialize a special person or event, you can do this through our book memorials program. You can do this by donating funds for staff to purchase a book in a specific subject category. If interested, please contact Adult Services Librarian at 608-742-4959, ext 170 for more information.
